Actions Tab

The Actions tab provides quick-access buttons for common host tasks, all usable with keyboard shortcuts. Designed for fast one-handed operation during a live meeting.

Host/co-host only.

Default Actions

These 12 actions are built in and cannot be deleted. You can customize their label, color, and keyboard shortcut.

Spotlight Controls

Spotlight Next Speaker — How It Works

  1. Click Spotlight Next Speaker (or press Alt+1)
  2. The button shows a progress indicator — Triad Tool is waiting for someone to start speaking
  3. When a participant activates their microphone, they are automatically spotlighted
  4. The action deactivates after the first successful spotlight

Configure the wait window duration in Settings → the default is 10 seconds.

Spotlight Raised Hand — How It Works

  1. Click Spotlight Raised Hand (or press Alt+0)
  2. A dialog shows all participants who currently have their hand raised, sorted oldest-first
  3. Already-spotlighted participants are visually marked
  4. Click any participant to spotlight them
  5. Click Refresh in the dialog to re-sync with Zoom if hands changed

Raised hands are tracked via Zoom’s reaction events and updated in real time.

Break Titlecard — How It Works

The break titlecard displays a fullscreen custom image with a countdown showing when the break ends. Ideal for:

  • Displaying break end time during a coffee break
  • Showing agenda images between rounds
  • Providing context while participants wait

Setup

  1. Click Break Titlecard (or press Alt+9)
  2. Enter the break end time (e.g., 14:30)
  3. The titlecard shows your background image and the countdown text

Display Modes

Text Template

Customize the text overlaid on your titlecard image using placeholders:

Background Image

Upload a custom background image in Settings → Titlecard. Images are stored locally in your browser’s IndexedDB — they never leave your device.

Custom Actions (Premium)

Premium users can add additional instances of these action types:

Editing Actions

Click the pencil icon on the Actions tab to enter edit mode:

  • Drag to reorder actions
  • Change color — 12 colors available (Blue, Red, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink, Teal, Indigo, Cyan, Lime, Amber, Deep Orange)
  • Edit label — customize the button name
  • Assign shortcut — set Alt+[0-9] or Option+[0-9]
  • Mark as favorite — starred actions can be filtered separately

Favorites Filter

Click the star icon in the toolbar to filter down to only your favorite actions. Useful when you have many actions and want a focused view during the meeting.

Stream Deck Integration

Each action has a secondary embedded shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F1 through F12) designed for Stream Deck macros or other hardware shortcut devices. These are shown in each action button’s tooltip.

Saving and Loading Action Presets (Premium)

You can save your entire action configuration as a named preset and restore it later — useful if you run different types of sessions with different action needs.
